Computerized Museum Kiosks for Health Exhibit
ChallengeThis project involved overhauling the software for several kiosks in a health exhibition wing at a science museum. The systems were old DOS systems that were constantly breaking and had old, outdated interfaces badly in need of updating.
The exhibits needed a facelift. They also needed to replace aging hardware with new parts to increase reliability. SolutionWe gave new LabVIEW GUIs to all the stations, installed new modern computers, and new DAQ hardware to increase reliability.

Technical Details
A USB DAQ device was used to interface to the transducers. The software was created with Microsoft Visual C# .NET and LabVIEW.
